In the absence of a complete neurological exam, it is not feasible to comment definitively about the true status of your diagnosis. However, your description could fit an advanced Heredofamilial Essential Tremor Syndrome. There are far better medications than propranolol. See a neurologist who specializes in movement disorders. Also, do a thyroid blood screen to exclude hyperthyroidism.
