In our center we use: General anesthesia with lma if no contraindications. But with right patient I am sure can be done with monitor anesthesia care and I.V.Sedation. Some obgyn do the procedure at their office.

Depends: It depends on your health conditions. Sedation requires a healthy patient with a certain level of cooperativity. Many patients with choose to have general anesthesia for this procedure.
