2 weeks: I recommend no intercourse for two weeks, but some physicians may recommend a longer time. You should ask your physician what he or she recommends for you. There is no need to wait longer then 4 weeks, and remember, there are alternatives to intercourse ;) as far as your partner, if he suffers from low testosterone, that is treatable. He should be tested.
