Uterine ablation: Novasure is one of many techniques of uterine ablation utilizing radiofrequency energy to destroy the lining of the uterus. It is very effective in reducing or stopping menstrual blood flow and somewhat effective in alleviating painful periods. It is not reversible and pregnancy is not recommended after an endometrial ablation.
