While we as dental: Surgeons usually try to delay any treatment during pregnancy, sometimes the situation with a pregnant patient requires otherwise. The third trimester is generally considered the safest in this scenario. Consult w your ob/gyn and your dental surgeon on your situation. I would say that you will be just fine having an extraction with local anesthetic.

Scenario dependent: If you are/have a high-risk pregnancy or have complications within your 3rd trimester, then if any elective treatment can be delayed it should. However, if you are contending with chronic pain & abscess/infection, then it is best to proceed with treatment, which is completely safe with local anesthesia - best to have oral surgeon perform and use lido (categ b preg drug) anesthetic- Epinephrine ok.
