Bump on the neck: This might be an enlarged lymph node or a cystic structure associated with the skin or tissue just under the skin. If it is tender it may be a normal reactive lymph node or a sebaceous cyst. If it does not resolve she should see a doctor for evaluation. If it is a cystic structure her doctor can help you decide how to treat it. If it is an enlarged lymph node they may suggest an ultrasound.
