No: Could be early infection, wax build up, foreign body in the ear canal(including a bug) or bubbles going through fluid in the inner ear. Outside chance of it being a nerve dysfunction of the acoustic nerve.

Not likely: Tinnitus or clicking in your ear can be from many causes but not likely to be muscle related. If you continue to have hearing disturbance see an ENT specialist. They will hopefully help you get to the bottom of the cause for this.
