How old are you: There is a blood vessel in the temporalis muscle caled the temporal artery. It can get inflammed wiht what we call temporal arteritis. This can be very serious and you need to conact your physician. This usually occurs when we are older. It this is not the case you need to evaauted to see the cause of this. If itis you may need a temporal artery biopsy to help decide therapy.
