Had the genetic assays for psychotropic drugs, the 2 meds they told me should have no side effcts made me sick or were bad enough to dc, any ideas why?

Assays = part of ans: Assays for drug response are more about metabolism of the drug and i wouldn't expect would be able to (in a binary yes/no manner) predict the full spectrum of side effects likely to occur on you as a patient. Remember that in medicine as in life, there are few absolutes. I would be wary of anyone or anything that ever predicts a 100% response. Nothing is perfect.
