Testing Method: Any blood in the urine on a properly collected specimen (catheterized for women) warrants evaluation if persistent or visible. If you've not had a cath specimen then it is critical you do. If there's no blood on two separate tests then you are ok. If there is blood then you need to see a urologist. Two cath specimens like this warrant a workup. A ct and look in the bladder should be done.
