A member asked:

Doctor said that i have moderate blood in my urine from a recent urine test , but no infection. small pain and feels like infection. what is this?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Need to investigate: Blood in urine needs to be investigated. You may wish to ask the doctor to repeat the test, in case the first sample was contaminated with menstrual blood. Blood in urine may be due to infection, stones, or tumor. It would be prudent to have it investigated. Wish you good health! - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. Practice safe sex, if you have sex.
