Sepsis: Sepsis in and of itself does not obligate low BP but once septic shock sets in extremely low BP is very common.

Not always: Sepsis is often associated with low blood pressure requiring large fluid infusions and possible medicine to support blood pressure until the infection can be brought under control. However milder forms may have no BP issues.
