Mgus: It is very rare to have mgus at young age like yourself. - approximately less than 2%.. The risk to develop into myeloma- is approximately 1% each year- with a life time risk ranges from 11% to 30%- based on epidemiology study. Mgus is not a cancer thus at this time- there is no need for treatment. You need to be followed up by your hematologist. And yes, if you choose to- you can have children.
