Severe anemia: How do you feel? Any symptoms- like dizziness, shortness of breath, chest pain etc? If you do- you may need blood transfusion. What was the level in the past? It is important to know the cause-iron or other def? Bleeding? Etc. Evaluation needs to be done as treatment will depend of the cause. If you don't get treated- fatigue, weakness, shortness of breath, chest pain, heart failure can happen.
