Doubtful: Have never heard or seen a report of blood transfusion transmitted tb, but anything is possible. Usually you get TB by inhaling droplet nuclei containing the organism after other people with the disease cough. The bug then spreads through your body and winds up in the spine. It may stay there for years before producing demonstrable disease.

No TB spreads by inh: Blood transfusion does not lead to koch's spine. Mycobacterium tuberculosis is the bacteria that causes TB and it spreads by inhalation of droplets coughed out by someone with tb. Once infected, the TB bug usually stays in the lungs but can spread to other parts of the body like brain, intestines or bones, causing tissue destruction in these parts. Treatment requires completion of dots therapy.

?: Unlikely, and next to unheard of. Spinal TB is not contagious unless it is in the lung also. See your TB doc asap.
