Yes: Sounds like you might be in the menopause? Depending on the size of your fibroids, they can definitely cause severe abdominal pain. Hopefully, in menopause, they will shrink. See a gynecologist if you would like to discuss management options for uterine fibroids. Make sure that you're not missing another cause for severe abdominal pain. I would see doctor for an evaluation.
