Night : Strattera (atomoxetine) can be taken either in the evening before bed or in the morning. If you feel sedated after taking strattera, (atomoxetine) it is best taken in the evening. Strattera (atomoxetine) is an antidepressant that works by the same mechanism as does Imipramine (also used for adhd) the initial response to both is sedation, so your concern about being tired while driving is sound.

Take at night: Often this medication can make you tired but can help you fall asleep if taken at night. If it wears off during the day can be taken in divided doses to reduce sedation during the day.
