No Single Answer: There is no single answer for everyone. It depends on hwat you are doing and why. Top athletes, whose job is thier sport, may exercise, in one form or another, 12-14 hours a day. I would say for the average person, if the amount of exercise is interferring with other activities in life, then you are exercising too much. I would suggest that an hour a day would be sufficient.

Please start over: Please start over and tell us something about yourself. What is your current height and weight and what are you trying to accomplish with exercise? If you are trying to push your limits so much, we need to know the reason because, for instance, if someone is anorexic, doctors are not going to encourage them to lose more weight..
