Cannot be sure: You have apparently eliminated all evidence of active disease and its progression. You can never be guaranteed that all the living TB bacilli have been killed, and in fact they probably have not. Stay alert for any evidence of reactivation of infection (fever, back pain/tenderness, weight loss, night sweats, etc.), but this is very unlikely and you should remain healthy. Good luck.

Tuberculosis: Xray can help some. In rare cases a biopsy can be done. Also, there are tests such as interferon based on that can show active tuberculosis and can differentiate that from inactive.
