Could be: At 25 years of age, likely this bleeding is due to hormones. Extremes of weight (thin or heavy) can sometimes cause breakthrough bleeding like this, as can thyroid. At your age, rarely is the cause a fibroid or polyp on uterus or cervix. If you're worried, make an appt with gynecologist. If hormonal, then birth control pills can help to fix. Make sure your pap is up to date as well!
