A member asked:

For what reason wouldn't the heating pad work for my menstrual cramps?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

It is superficial: You get cramps because the uterus is a big muscle and it is typically trying to squeeze out some blood. The uterus is also located deep down in your pelvis and heat from a heating pad simply does not reach it.
