What does i need to tell my child when older about having had myelopathy?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Good question: Some of the things leading to myelopathy do run in families, so letting them know about your experience is good. They may or may not be at risk, but if they experience numbness (especially hands), clumsiness or weakness (hands common again), trouble with balance when walking they should consult their doctor or a spine specialist for examination and testing if needed.
