Mental Institution: If you do qualify and walk into an er, case management will refer you to county or state facilities. If you have some insurance but not good enough then again, you would contact the er or county case management to refer you if you need inpatient hospitalization you should call 911 or go to nearest er.

Mental Institution: Call the department of mental health in florida for assistance., tell them you or your love one is in need of hospitalization and you have limited funds. Also make sure this is the right course of action according to a mental health evaluation. My best.
