Is it too long to wait 20 weeks for the first ultrasound? i had a past miscarriage 4 months ago.

Better view: At 20 weeks more anatomy of the developing baby (fetus) can be assessed. It is a good sign that your doctor has decided that your pregnancy is progressing satisfactorily enough to not request an ultrasound until that time.
