Yes and no: Exercise is a double edged sword. High impact exercise such as jogging or running on a treadmill can cause constant jarring of the vein valves which could lead theoretically to incompetence of them. Other forms of exercise such as biking, swimming and elliptical is good for the veins by increasing the venous return and muscle contractions without injuring the valves. See a vein specialist.
