Puncture wound: Dental clasps can puncture your lips or cheeks if the denture is not removed carefully. Usually they are dirty with food or bacteria and therefore introduce foreign material into your wound. You should go see your local dentist for an evaluation and possibly antibiotics.

Quite common: Trauma to the lips and the inside of the mouth from the partials is quite common. Fortunately, the mouth has many blood vessels, which promotes quick healing.

Possible infection: Denture clasps are not sterile, so your lip has been punctured by a non-sterile object. Will probably self heal, but would be wise to see Dentist to 1). Establish baseline, and 2). Discuss if antibiotic coverage is warranted.
