Ulcer: If you are having stomach bleeding you need medical help. How do you know its bleeding? Are you vomiting blood or blood in bowel movement? Bleeding can be caused by peptic ulcer, acid reflux (severe), anti-inflammatories, varicose veins in the esophogas, cancer of stomach esophogas or intestine did you throw up or cough blood? It might be coming from your lungs then.

Gastritis or ulcer: Gastric bleeding can be caused by a number of conditions and is very serious. The bleeding may be manifested by vomiting blood or by having black tarry stools or bloody diarrhea. The most common causes are gastritis, peptic ulcer disease, gastric or esophageal varices or a tear at the ge junction caused from vomiting. It should be promptly evaluated by UGI endoscopy.
