Benzodiazepines: Benzodiazepines work like alcohol in the brain and get have qualities of addiction and dependence, depending on severity of anxiety, panic attacks, insomnia, some doctors may prescribe it short term to help, if not abused and benefits outweigh the risks some patients are on it for a long time. Depends on individual situation, best to use short term or use psychotherapy or avoid them is possible.
