In a child with possible perthes, would a popping sensation the the hip/thigh point to or against perthes?

Hip pain : Hip pain may be present, however there are a variety of other possibilities.Popping may be due to other conditions including hip dysplasia or slipping of the top of the femur out of the hip joint. Best to have your child examined by his/her pediatrician and orthopedic surgeon.
