Is it dangerous to use progesterone cream while taking the progestogen-only pill? i use the cream for hot flushes and the pill for painful periods

Not dangerous: You can take both at the same time but the Progesterone cream will not help you with the hot flashes. Also the Progesterone only pills have some limitations/side effects. If there are no contraindication to take bcp that contain estrogen those birth control pills might be a better option.
