Competent evaluation: ''depression'' is psychiatric analogue to ''fever'' . A competent evaluation should answer 3 concerns : underlying cause(s), ideal or ''custom fitted'' treatment and what constraints reality imposes, such as cost, flexibility of work/school schedule, psychological strengths weighed against underlying difficulty. Depression ranges from needing immediate attention-suicidality to quite treatable.Can'.

Depression: Is a mood disorder involving feelings of depression, loss of interest in usually pleasurable activities, trouble with sleep, appetite and energy and sometimes the development of suicidal ideation. It also interferes with the person's ability to function in school/work and in relationships. The best news is that there is help out there!
