Stretch and strength: Most intermittent athletes get soreness and pain from time to time. Make sure you are getting in a good 10 minute warm up and 5 minute stretch before playing. For practices, make sure a warmup and stretch period precedes each one. It will promote a sense of team to do this all together (pro teams do this all the time) also make sure you are strengthening the muscles around the shoulder blade.
