Sneezing: Sneezing is a motor reflex generated from branches of the trigeminal nerve due to inflammatory neuropeptides such as substance p, neurokinin a and others that are the result of inflammation from allergic and irritant triggers. The sneezing is the body's reflex mechanism to expel mucus and foreign material from the nose.
