Allergy treatment: Sneezing is a common symptom of allergies. The best treatment is to try to avoid the trigger allergen. The most effective medication is a nasal cortisone spray (takes a few days), but an antihistamine such as claritin, Allegra or zyrtec can work fairly well for most people in 1-2 hours.
