Treatment: That is dependent of the actual injury. Some options may include : rest, splinting, rigid shoes. Buddy taping or surgery.

Exam and xray: They will examine it and most likely take an xray. They will give you treatment options that can range from conservative to, in severe cases, surgical intervention. The type of break/fracture will dictate the course of treatment.

Depends on severity: Depends on the severity of the fracture. If may need to be reduced and immobilized. If displaced or not reducible it may need to be surgically repaired.
