Endometriosis: Endometriosis usually causes chronic pelvic pain. It is due to an increase in production of inflammatory substances which may lead to scarring of the pelvic organs, thereby increasing your chances of infertility or an ectopic pregnancy. These inflamatory substances are also known to cause irregular menstruation and may occasionally prevent ovulation.

Stress: Endometriosis, if it is severe, can spread to nearby organs such as the colon and bladder. When it does it can cause pain with bladder and bowel function all the time. Usually it does not spread anywhere else. But women with endometriosis and pain often feel more stress and you may overall be more fatigued and sore in general.
