Depends...: It certainly can occur but depends on the number and severity of events. Neuropsychological testing is strongly encouraged in the setting of traumatic brain injury in order to outline the most appropriate long term treatment plan.

Absolutely : You should consult with, at the very least, a neurologist to see what type of neuro work up is recommended, a psychiatrist with some expertise in post- concussion issues if possible and who can diagnose and characterize the type of anxiety and how to treat it, and a psychologist to see if neuropsych testing would be helpful and who could teach you how to deal with the anxiety. Ptsd ?
