A member asked:

Severe cramping in mother's upper abdomen that doesn't subside after moving her bowels and soon leads to vomiting. any ideas?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Abdominal pain: I'm not sure how old 'mother' is but assuming she's over 50 it could be a number of things. The first thing is to rule out something serious such as an ulcer or an obstruction in the intestines. You should see a gastroenterologist as soon as possible.
