Nondiagnostic: These varied symptoms are reminiscent of irritable bowel syndrome with associated gastritis and gerd. Hot and cold flashes are nonspecific and if they're of recent origin, a viral infection could explain them. Try a bland, very low fat diet, avoid caffeine, alcohol and nicotine. If you can take it, prilosec is helpful for gerd and gastritis. Flat Ginger ale.See your physician if symptoms persist
