Would it be healthy to lose the enamel in your teeth?

Enamel loss: Enamel loss can be caused by acid reflux, gerd, excess consumption of acidic foods--soda, fresh citrus fruits, etc. Clenching or grinding your teeth when under stress can also cause tooth wear. Best advice would be to talk with your dentist or dental hygienist for some tips and tricks. Brush with a fluoridate toothpaste and use a Fluoride rinse like act to preserve your enamel.

Kind of: It is in a way. When you grind your teeth, you lose enamel. If you drink a lot of soda or energy drinks, the low ph softens the enamel and if you brush your teeth right away, you will brush away this softened enamel and never get it back.
