Yes: Endometriosis can cause a lot of problem - abnormal periods, painful periods or sex, ovarian cancer, etc. So it is very unpredictable and that is a very large implant. You definitely want to see a specialists with something that large to discuss medical and surgical therapy.

No: The endometriosis implants are not inside the uterus and they can not affect the cycle except for the pain that they typically cause.
