Idependent: The two diseases are independent of each other, so you can have IBS symptoms any time. They are both effected by stress, especially IBS, so if your endometriosis symptoms are worse, often the IBS is worse also.

Yes?: "IBS symptoms" are varied. The common gastrointestinal symptom associated with endometriosis is painful defecation, but anything is possible if you have significant implants on your bowels. The hallmark of endometriosis is not chronic pain or chronic GI problems, but rather painful periods. If you're having the former but not the latter, your symptoms are probably not from endometriosis.

Sometimes similiar: It is possible to have adhesions due to endometriosis which can cause pain but it would not cause diarrhea or constipation.It is also possible to have both IBS and endometriosis. Hope that helps.
