Find another doc: If you want them removed that badly, find a doctor who will do it, rather than risking traumatizing your skin and risking infection. You may have to pay cash if the skin tags are not significant enough to be covered by a plan.

Small skin tags: If they are truly skin tags and miniscule in size, i would think tying a string around it would be quite challenging. If you are certain they are skin tags, you could consider removing them with a clean nail clipper but clip quickly. If the sites become infected, you will have to see your doctor.
