Yes: As the saying goes, you are what you eat, so if you eat unhealthy you will be unhealthy. Unhealthy foods like sugars and fried foods increase inflammation which likely causes the burning. In a way you are lucky that your body gives you this feedback, as eating unhealthy is bad for everyone but most people don't discover this until they develop a serious illness. Listen to your body's feedback.
