No : For a plain (non-contrast study) they don't need to be present.

Not necessary.: The MRI technologist can perform the mri. The radiologist will typically review the images later (after they have been processed) and generate an official report.

Radiologist? Abdo MRI (see profile) tues. Hospital page says no food/ drink 6 hrs pre. Scheduler insists w/this procedure food okay. I called back & got another scheduler who read chart & agreed.
