"Zooming in": on images is commonpractice for radiologists when interpreting images on a workstation, it doesn't necessarily imply an abnormality. Normal structures within the central canal include the spinal cord, nerve roots, thecal sac, and fatty tissue. Abnormalities could relate to disk herniations, arthritis, and masses. Talk to your doc about the results.
