Take it outside: If the home or couch is not helping you stay motivated use other locations. Use your home for rest and recovery. Go somewhere else. Take a walk or jog, go to a park and walk around it. Even mall walking is a reasonable alternative. Just make going home last on your list of destinations.

Exercise: Try exercising with a partner, when we work out with a friend it is often easier to keep the commitment. Try asking a friend to walk with you, start slowly and build up to additional minutes over time. If this fails consult an exercise physiologist who will guide through workouts that will be suited to you. Best wishes.
