Yes and yes: 6 weeks is around when women start scheduling their first prenatal visit. You aren't late at all! the reason, pregnancies before 6 weeks are difficult to visualize on ultrasound. Ideally, your doctor can see you in a week or 2-3. Also, it's okay to take flinstones. Sometimes vitamins make women nauseous. Most important is to eat a balanced healthy diet and get at least 800mcg Folic Acid a day.
