You do not need to take extra supplement of biotin (B7) if you are taking prenatal vitamin. However, biotin is water soluble so it does not cause toxicity, especially with 1,000 mcg a day on top of the amount in prenatal vitamin. Biotin deficiency is uncommon during pregnancy so taking prenatal vitamin is more than enough.

Your prenatal vitamin shouldn't contain more than ,30 mcg of biotin, if any. It interferes with the lab testing og the pregnancy hormone, hCG, the hormone, TSH used to determine thyroid status as well as other lab tests. It is not otherwise harmful, though.
