Treat it,find source: Ringworn (tinea) doe not get into the blood stream.Some yeasts do but the patients would be in an ICU facing death. Not all skin rash that forms rings is a ringworm, there are some skin conditions that mimic it. If ringworm, it can be treated but will return wit re-exposure to the carrier.Hairy pets, other people, soil, all are potential sources.

Dermatophytosis.: Ringworm is a filamentous fungal infection; affects skin, nail and hair, usually doesn't go to bloodstream. Source is contact with infected person, animal or contaminated cloth. Recurrent infection occur in people with diabetes, lymphoid malignancies, immunosuppression, a disease with high cortisol called chushing syndrome. See personal physician, complete full course of treatment as prescribed.
